This tool extracts relevant information from SAML metadata and presents it in a more readable and structured format.

Metadata editor

The Metadata editor accepts any XML file containing valid metadata. It can also be used to inspect metadata that is not published in the IDEM Federation, as long as the XML structure is valid.

Extracted Information

The following information is automatically detected and displayed when available:

• General Information (EntityID, DisplayName, Organization details)
• Certificates (Signing and Encryption)
• Privacy and Information URLs
• Endpoints (ACS, SSO, SLO)
• Requested Attributes
• Entity Attributes
• Contacts
• Scopes

When a field is missing or no value is available, the interface will display "N/A".

Is the metadata returning an error?

The metadata must first be valid XML before any information can be extracted. If validation fails, check the error message displayed below the editor to identify and fix the issue.
